Pathless Wood Scented Candle

Pathless Wood Scented Candle

£49.00

I am in love with the way LO. Studio describe their candles ‘this is the smell you get when you stand in the woods, close your eyes and breath in deeply’. The idea of the “scrapbook of fragrances” that we all build up and hold onto, that provoke memories, was the starting point for the creation of these most gloriously scented candles. Made by hand in Nottingham each candle is an alchemic mix of scents and memory. Exquisitely boxed and with magical scrapbook-esq illustrations make these a truly wonderful gift.

About LO. Studio.

A loved one’s death signified the birth of LO. Between the copious cups of tea and the numbness death brings, candle making was the happy place for LO’s creator. Mixing potions, creating scents and doing something positive. Scents evoke memory in a way the other senses can’t. Our sense of smell starts to develop in the womb. As we grow up those associations continue to form and develop a scrapbook of fragrance memories. A LO candle is based on that scrapbook. A feeling, a time, the sense of a scent that paints a picture to occupy the corner of one’s mind.

The candle glass includes 20% of recycled glass.

The candle lids are 80% recycled steel.

The candle boxes use 80% recycled paper.

Candle Care:
The first time you light your candle let it burn for 2-3 hours until there is a molten wax layer across the whole surface.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours.
Allow your candle to solidify before relighting.
Always keep wicks trimmed to 4-5 mm.
Keep the candle free from debris.
Keep the lid on when not in use to prevent dust settling on the wax.
