Major Project:
If you take a creative degree this is the time of year when 3 years of study comes together in one ‘major project’ - the culmination of the course, the absorption of ideas and the experimentation expressed and displayed, distilled into a final work.

Show Grounds:
We visited Central St Martins on Wednesday (Kings Cross), New Designers on Thursday (Islington) and The Royal College of Art (Battersea) today. [All the Shows run over the weekend and are open to the public].

The visual version of 12,000 words:
The shows are hung and tired, rightly proud, students stand by (some shy, some confident) and explain the process, the inspiration, the thinking, the outcome…and look to the future.

Future Brights:
And, wow, there are some extremely talented new designers and makers coming through British design schools.  This is a good time for the creative arts - the future has some very bright candidates.
