SIMPLE SHAPE'S 14-DAY HOLIDAY GUIDE / day 07

DAY SEVEN: Zero Skill Wreath Making

There are lots of people far more talented and qualified than I am to give clear how-to-demonstrations on making your own wreath, but spurred on by so many brilliant examples I've seen on Instagram and blogs I decided to have a ago.

I bought a 'naked' wreath ring and very simply poked things into it. That's it really. The fir on the wreath I bought was attached with fine hidden wires to a base and I was able to wedge stems underneath.

When I've been given flowers (...and it's happened a few times recently for some reason!) I've saved some of the flowers and dried them. Not really with any intention of using them, just because they were too lovely to throw away. Completely by accident these have come in perfectly useful.
